We are incredibly honored to announce JOHN CROYLE as the featured speaker for this year’s A Night of Attention Benefit Dinner!

John’s name is well known across Alabama, both for his accomplishments on the football field and, even more importantly, for the thousands of young lives he has impacted.

John was an All-American defensive end at the University of Alabama under legendary Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant, playing on three SEC Championship teams and Alabama’s 1973 National Championship team. He was later inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and was the first recipient of the Paul W. Bryant Alumni-Athlete Award.

But instead of pursuing professional football, John chose a different path.

In 1974, he founded Big Oak Ranch, dedicating his life to providing a safe, loving home for abused, neglected, and abandoned children. Since then, Big Oak Ranch has served more than 2,000 children.

His story, his accomplishments, and especially his lifelong commitment to children make him an incredible fit for the mission of the Attention Homes. We cannot wait to hear his message on October 3rd!
