We hit 400 sales and 1yr selling on Etsy! Thank you all so so much!!

I remember getting my very first sale (from my amazing aunt) and thinking I would probably never see a sale from someone who is not a direct friend or family member.

I wanted to be an open book about this process to hopefully inspire others to take the plunge and pursue their passions, so here are some realities...

400 sales on Etsy equates to $2,554.30 in revenue. That's revenue, not profit. That is not accounting for equipment, supplies, marketing, shipping, packaging, my time, etc. I am essentially doing this for free at this point. To put things in perspective, I've invested about $5k into start up expenses, so I have not even broke even yet.

However, the connections I've made and everything I've learned have been so worth the time, energy, and amount of love I've poured into this.

Etsy is not my only income stream, I have done a few in person events and side jobs. I have done both shows that have been a complete bust and shows that have inspired me to keep going and have shown me this is possible!

I feel big things coming in 2026! Thank you you all so much for your continued support, none of this would be possible without you!
