I am so excited to paint again.

After 2 years, I'm having to open every tube of paint this way because the paint on the caps polymerized as oil paint does when it dries.

Thankfully the paints themselves are fine since I tightened every cap very well and have had them stored in a climate controlled space.

Revisiting one of my favorite paintings, titled "Empowerment", from my book, My Wild Life.

It appears I've been given the opportunity to grow after things were put on hold due to many unexpected life changes the past few years.

Now that I've had a chance to look at some of my paintings with fresh eyes, I see improvements I'd like to make on some.

For this one, I'll be slightly reworking the background and It's partner, not pictured, titled "Survival".

Currently, I'm not showing full images due to lack of artist's works being protected from AI scanning for training.

Thankful for the Florida Veterinary Referral Center Emergency Animal Hospital getting my girl, Baby better. Their staff was fantastic.

My soul mate dog had a rough week. Thank God her platelets were in check today.

Hopefully I'll be back to painting soon.

My girl is very sick and in the animal hospital followed by a very recent family crisis.

Seems like whenever I try to start painting something comes up, but family, including my dog, is more important and always will be.

Throwback 7 years ago while I was creating this tiger painting that turned out fantastic and later sold to a special collector.

Just practicing. Finally have a little space to paint after 2 1/2 years.

Practice is needed but it feels good to pick up the brushes again.
