All bears completed from this order. They turned out great and the owner loved the final results. From concept to conclusion.

I have a list of bears/memory items I hope to make one day. Thank you Crystal for allowing me to cross off one of those items. I was beyond honored to make these special bears from military/NPD uniforms.

I learned a lot during this process. There was more hand sewing than I like to do but in the end they came out fantastic. I used the uniform buttons for eyes and the bears shirt. The arm cuffs to make a collar and embroidered special details on the chest and foot.

I’d love to make a memory item from any other branch in the military or doctor/nurse scrubs. The possibilities are endless!

11 chances to create something memorable. It’s going to be a busy few weeks but I’m excited to get started.

I spent time last year updating my process and I’m hoping the update will make it easier/faster to turn around a completed item.

A late post but really enjoyed making these bears. Only had 1 t-shirt to work with and used as much of the fabric as possible.
