Where pattern meets polish
The soft glaze variation of the field tile and delicate square edge of the Dean Jr. trim ground the space beautifully, giving the whimsical floral wallpaper room to shine without overwhelming the design. It's the perfect balance of color, texture, and charm!

"I wanted to use vintage fixtures and bathroom accessories that I had acquired and saved over the past 10-20 years, and incorporate them into a wet room. The powder room off of my kitchen was a good size, but not big enough for an enclosed shower, so I decided to make the whole room a shower. Of course, I needed fabulous tile since the room is tiled floor-to-ceiling! Danielle at Red Rocks Tileworks was so great in helping me find the pink tile that I had been dreaming of, and could not find anywhere else. The pink was rejected by another client, but I think it is perfect, and it goes great with the Kelly green tile too! I also lucked out and got a lot of Hillsboro yellow tile from their seconds section, and I used leftover b/w tile from another project. I absolutely love how everything came together!! Yay!"

Painting Delft With My Seven-Year-Old for Tile Talk Tuesday!

This week, Dino sat down at our painting table with a brush and a blank ivory tile.

His favorite icons in the Americana Delft collection? Into the Wild (because we go camping) and Country Cruisin’ (because of the winding mountain road).

His own custom tile? “A robin. Or a bird.”

For his brother? “Frankenstein. And all the things he loves. In red.”

That right there — that’s the entire reason custom Delft exists.

Four hundred years ago, the Dutch painted what they saw every day. Windmills. Fishing boats. Daily life.
We’re just continuing the tradition. With a robin. With a Frankenstein. With whatever your story is.

Fresh ingredients. Handmade tile. East Nashville doing what it does best. 🌿

When set out to design the space for , the intention was clear — the room should feel as clean, local, and thoughtfully considered as the food on the plate. The result? A custom ombré across Precision Field, moving from Laurel Lake into Dublin — a gradient as quiet and deliberate as the menu itself.

Dryden brought the vision. Radish brings the food. Red Rock brings the clay. All of it, rooted right here in Nashville. 🙏

Some glazes don’t wait for a collection.

Warm Molasses started as a custom color—but once it came out of the kiln, there was no putting it back. Deep, rich brown that pools dark and breaks to honey, with a subtle metallic edge from iron that catches the light just right.

It’s a lowfire crackle glaze, inspired by vintage tile made centuries ago—where movement, variation, and surface were the whole point.

A little moody. A little alive. Hard to stop staring at.

Sometimes the best colors stand on their own.

Nobody Wanted To Hire Me. So I Built It Myself. 🧡

Twenty years of clay under my fingernails, a recession that nearly broke me, and a kiln that still surprises me every single day. This is just a glimpse into what we’re celebrating all year long — twenty years of Red Rock Tileworks.

The Ziggurat House just sold.

And we made the tile.

Every handmade piece in this home — the courtyard, the kitchen, the primary bath, the plunge pool surround, the custom hand-stamped shower, the mermaid mural — was designed in collaboration with and made by hand in our Nashville studio.

Here’s the part that still gets us:

This started as a modest 1930s bungalow in East Nashville. It just sold for close to $1,200 a square foot.
We’re not saying the tile did that. But we’re not not saying it either. 😄

To Lyon, , , , and everyone who brought this vision to life — what an honor. Truly. 🧡
