Not every project has a designer on it. Plenty of people are doing their own kitchen or bath, on their own timeline.

So we built a free planning workbook for exactly that.

You set your install date, and it counts every lead time backward to show you what to order first. Cabinets, vanity, countertops, tile, all on one calendar. It tracks your budget as you go, and it builds in a buffer — because a quoted lead time is not a delivery date.

It starts where every good project starts. Samples in hand, sitting next to each other, in the room they’re going in.

What it can’t do is the part a designer actually does. The eye. The proportion. The judgment calls. This just keeps the calendar and the math honest.

Meet ‘Moto Jacket’ — one of the newest icons in Americana Delft. Cobalt oxide, hand-painted on ivory ceramic, in our Nashville studio.

The tradition is old. What we put in it doesn’t have to be.

Lyon Porter isn’t just a hotelier and designer.

He’s a collector. Someone whose personal aesthetic runs so deep it shows up in every space he creates.

When we sat down to design the tile for the Ziggurat House, he brought out pieces from his Fred Harvey jewelry collection.

We started drawing from those motifs. The geometric patterns. The sacred symbols. The iconography that felt genuinely American, and genuinely his.

What you see on these walls started in a jewelry box.

That’s what custom tile can be.

Early Saturday morning S. E. Daugherty & Sons Farm, picking flowers to press into clay.

We launched Heirloom Flora last Friday and already have our first order — which means I get to spend a Saturday morning in a flower field instead of at my desk. These get pressed into fresh clay today and dry over the weekend.

If I weren’t making tile, I’d want to be doing exactly this. So… the more y’all order, the more I get to pick flowers. 🧡

We added 12 new Americana Delft icons and then said nothing about it for months. Fixing that now.

Sunrise Rooster. Midsummer Soft Serve. Desert Saguaro. Moto Jacket. Little Flower. League Night. Frontier Bison. Ball Park Hot Dog. Plus Daybreak Hen, Cottage Picket, Wild Coreopsis, and Blanket Flower Blossom.

All hand-painted in cobalt on ivory in our Nashville studio. Painted to order. No minimums. Available in 4×4 and 6×6.

New equipment dropping at Haustile today and we couldn’t be more fired up! 🔥 This beast of a glazing machine is about to take our porcelain game to a whole new level.

Fun fact: Did you know that glazing is like makeup for tile? It’s that final, transformative layer that turns raw clay into something extraordinary. And with this new toy in our toolkit, extraordinary is about to become our everyday. 😎

Some tile behaves itself. This tile orders a second round.

6x6 Arabic in emerald, set with matching field tile, wrapping the bar Cowboy Bar inside the Nashville Arcade. The pattern is old-world and a little swoony — all curling relief and shadow — and the emerald glaze makes the whole thing look like the inside of a jewel box someone smartly decided to put barstools in.

Under that glass arcade roof, it glows. Under those little globe lights at night, it smolders. Same tile, two entirely different moods.
