Have a couple of big projects going on right now and of course we are extremely space limited as to how much we can do, but in between sanding / epoxy / glue ups / etc small sign making can happen and provide little wins when things don’t seem to always go right 🙂.

Gave the”Art Dept” another challenge, 3D painting and she didn’t disappoint.. We have added a 3D Printer to the line up and has been playing around with it a little. So far I’ve made a lot of handy wood working accessories but since we are doing a comic con in a few months we will add more of these type items to our normal “con” wood items to sell but they will help with staging also.

Pay it forward board built and in place at our favorite Protein Shake and Energy Tea place..

I felt like an old blacksmith beating the top metal piece with a hammer and pliers to get the multiple bends in place, of course “The Art Dept” made the new metal look 20 years old!

Very neat idea for people to leave a treat for someone, we started the process off sending a free drink to the first new mom coming in. Head in there, grab something and write down a “Pay it forward” drink and make someone’s day. 🙂

We took a really bad cabinet sitting outside a thrift store too bad for them to even try selling, talked them into selling it and turned it into something totally new and unique, a Baker’s Bar!

Raised Cedar Planters and a custom screen door..

The planters were a special project; we have been mentoring a teenager the last month or so that we were put in contact with from a teacher of his looking for someone willing to teach woodworking to since he had a desire to learn. This turned out great and his skills grow every week!

Finished a refrigerator pedestal that is wrapped with wood we sourced from an old Chicago warehouse to match the look of their shop. This thing is guaranteed to withstand a Cat 5 Hurricane!

Come by their place and get an awesome protein shake or energy tea and check out the coolest ceiling in town! I’m very afraid one day “The Art Dept” is going to want one just like it….
