This is just an FYI…. I don’t usually have this issue, or not knowingly at least!

If a crafter gives you a price consider why they may be pricing an item the way they do. If you are thinking that’s way too much, here’s how you can figure it out.

For example the wreath is on the right. And the price tags of some of the items are on the left. What’s not seen is the price of all the glue sticks or pellets used to hold the wreath together, the zip ties or pipe cleaners to hold the bow together or mount on the wreath! And don’t forget the ribbon. Especially this Deluxe ribbon. And the biggest is the time it takes to make it!

So most crafters will add up the supplies used to make something and then multiply it 2-3 times and some add on for the time it takes to make an item.

Personally I keep my market in mind… So I Knowingly don’t charge nearly as much as I should or can for my work. But I am not gonna be short changed either and not be able to at least charge you for the supplies used.

Just something to keep in mind. When someone gives you a price. Don’t ever look at something and think that’s not worth what they are asking for.
