This is a warm, elegant dish—sweet baked pears stuffed with juicy berries, crunchy walnuts, and tangy blue cheese, drizzled with honey. Perfect as a dessert or appetizer!
Ingredients
4 ripe but firm pears (Bosc or Anjou), halved and cored
1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (toasted)
1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled (Gorgonzola or Stilton)
2-3 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Optional: Lemon juice, fresh thyme
Instructions
Prep: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish—brush with lemon juice if using.
Stuff: Mix berries, walnuts, and 2 tbsp honey—spoon into pear cavities. Top with blue cheese—sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake: Drizzle with honey—bake 20-25 minutes until pears are tender. Spoon juices back over if needed.
