We have been creating many different types of art including: Pen & Ink Portraits, Hand-painted Decorative Roofing Slate Art (Linda's Specialty), Hand-crafted, Fine Woodworking (A.J.'s Specialty), and much more! I drew a Christmas card with a line of penguins all perfectly alike, except one was wearing Groucho glasses, with the nose and mustache. I discovered this came naturally and that I could de
velop a unique personality with every scenario I created. Also, since I had to print my cards in black and white, the penguin was the perfect character to depict. Several years later I named my penguin, Percival; i.e., Percy, when I designed a card with him escaping prison disguised as a Christmas tree and needed a name on the Wanted poster...the rest is history."

Our hand-painted, original, decorative slates are the specialty of our Founder, Linda Brandenburg! Her husband and co-founder, A.J., makes wonderful woodwork.
