Two years ago I studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence and took painting and drawing classes to go toward my art minor I ended up dropping g the day before graduation. It took me two years to pick up a paint brush again and start dabbling in my old favorite hobby. Until this painting it was all something I just did for fun and gave a few paintings to my family but then one of my friends asked me to paint him a picture and I had no idea where to start. No one had ever given me a total free reign on something they want to hang in their home. Well, here is the end result and tomorrow this painting—whether you see a geode, or the light shining into a cave, or whatever it is—is off to its new owner.
Thanks, .haggard for boosting my confidence enough to start painting and making me feel good about the end results because i’m definitely my worst critic and so hard on myself I would never show people before this. LA ➡️ MS

Hi! For a while now I’ve been wanting to start a blog, account kind of place to just post personal art and things I find beautiful wherever I go as an extension to what I use as a creative outlet. SO, now that I’m mailing off my first painting tomorrow to its new owner, here I am! Finally posting a few things that I’ve drawn, painted, and created over the past couple of years. Cheers!
