This is the kind of room I want to be in more often. ✨

brought together movement, breath work, intentional conversation, wellness, creativity, and community for Pilatethon, and I left feeling genuinely inspired.

From the speaker who poured into us(I picked his brain a bit after the session and left with a new outlook), to the blueberry lemon protein cupcakes 🤤, 🌸the mocktail bar🌸, the Dreamathon clothing brand, and the simple act of showing up for our bodies—it was a reminder that experiences become unforgettable when every detail is considered.

And honestly? This is exactly why I believe florals deserve a seat at the table in spaces like this. 🌸

Flowers don’t have to wait for a wedding or a birthday. They can live in wellness events, fitness studios, networking mixers, brand activations, retreats, and anywhere people are gathering with intention. They soften the atmosphere, spark conversation, and add another layer to the experience.

One of my favorite parts of the day was reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting people I’ve been wanting to know. Most of you know me as the florist behind intentional, luxury blooms—but creativity doesn’t stop at the vase.

With a background in hospitality, I’ve always believed presentation is part of the experience. Before there are beautiful fruits and vegetables, there are flowers. Nature has always been styling the table long before we arrived.

One of the many creative hats I wear is food styling, and there’s no better place to gather inspiration than our local farmers market. The colors, textures, seasons, and stories behind every ingredient remind me that beauty exists long before the final plate.

As we move into the coming months, you’ll start seeing more of what happens behind the scenes at Designs by FloChi. From luxury florals to food styling, tablescapes, brand storytelling, and the little details that make hospitality unforgettable—we’re here to create experiences, not just arrangements.

There’s something special about people who believe in what you’re building. Last week I joined Coach Daisy’s Charlure | NASM -CPT Pilates Cameras&Core class and was reminded how much community matters. We looked cute in our pink as we sweat, laughed,got serious and then laughed some more. Daisy has been a Listening ear to my long ass voice messages cause life be lifing! She’s also been adamant about supporting Designs by FloChi so it’s only rite this time I added a single bloom to each guest gift bag with a little love in the form of a gift card for some special ladies. Conversations before & after class sparked new ideas around building a real Community. I’m showing up in different spaces so fresh intentional florals can be part of everyday life, not just special occasions. Grateful for connections that pour into each other and businesses that know there’s room for all of us to grow. Here’s to more movement, more blooms, and more community The Village New Orleans.
