The quote says 'marble-look tile and shelves' — here's what that actually means for your bathroom. The wall gets waterproofed before any tile goes up. Then large-format porcelain slabs that look like marble, installed from floor to ceiling with minimal grout lines. The shelves mount after tile — brass-framed glass, anchored through the tile into blocking that was planned before the wall was closed. At the end I'll show you the one line most quotes leave out. Stay with me. A bathroom wall is framed, then blocking goes in where shelves and fixtures will mount — before drywall. The wall is waterproofed with a membrane system. Tile is set and grouted. Then shelves are anchored through the tile into that blocking, so they're solid. This is the part I mentioned: the blocking and waterproofing aren't always itemized — ask what's behind the tile.
