Some rooms don't ask for your attention โ€” they simply have it.

Member Kate Singer, ASID Associate of Kate Singer Home/Kate Singer, designed this Sag Harbor living room around a masterful act of restraint: a soft palette of blue, white, and stone, and a set of chinoiserie panels above the fireplace that do all the talking. The symmetry is exact, the edit is rigorous, and somehow the room still feels entirely livable.

Good things take time. Great bazaars take a little more of it.

The Designer's Gilded Bazaar & Auction has a new date: Tuesday, September 22, 2026. The event grew faster than we could contain it, and we're taking the extra time to make sure this is the design event of the season โ€” not just one of them.
Tickets coming soon. But donations? Those we'll take now. If you have pieces in storage, products to showcase, or anything you think belongs in the most eclectic and beautiful auction in New York design โ€” reach out.

A foyer that announces itself before you've taken a step inside.

ASID NY Metro member Arlene Angard, ASID Allied, ( Arlene Angard Designs) designed this eclectic entry around a custom gold mirror from her personal collection โ€” a piece with presence, paired with a console that holds its own beneath it. Every object on the surface was chosen to speak to the room, not fill it.

The story behind it makes it richer: clients returning from Dubai, coming back to New York City, welcomed into a space designed with both craft and care.

As Arlene put it โ€” "We don't just design spaces, we make stories through them."
