October is probably one of my favorite months, not because I am big on Halloween and spooky stuff, but because three of my family members, including two siblings, have birthdays this month! It brings back memories of my mom baking banana cake for my little brother (seriously, so good, and I don't even like bananas that much), making birthday dinner, and laughing over snacks😂. However, it's also the month when I am fully launching the re-design of our now dining room. I'm thinking of a curved sofa that can serve as additional seating for the oval dining room table (with a set of two extra chairs), a coffee table, and two super comfy accent chairs with a cocktail stand... Very excited to share this with you as we continue our downstairs renovation at The Cottage on Kingsley!

They say open concept is dead. I say that's just a flat-out lie and a lie from the depths of hell.
Open concept is all about spatial planning, making sure you've got room to comfortably move around. A carpet that feels like a cloud, a sofa that feels like a warm hug at the end of a long day, and natural sunlight that some would kill for and is undoubtedly perfect for that golden hour photo you're going to post later.
