I'm proud to announce that Elizabeth Allen will be participating in this year's Affordable Art Market taking place during the Newark Arts Council Festival!

Presented by Newark Makerhoods Fern & Fossil Café Art Apiary and Artfront Galleries Newark, this event provides an opportunity for the public to purchase affordable, high-quality local art and handmade goods for under $500.

Word has it that the designer of Il Banchetto is the owner's daughter, who studied architecture...

The breakfast room used to be a restaurant that shut down due to COVID; you can still see the untouched w**e cellar as you enter the space.

The backyard is a lush green space with plenty of seating. Or if you prefer, curl up in the library with a book or catch up on the news.

There is also a full bar onsite, and you will find a variety of seating throughout the hotel's main floor.

This was hands-down one of the best hotels we encountered during our travels in Italy. Until we meet again...

I've been saving pictures of walls like this for months (years?), and today I finally got to see one in person. I still don't know what type of wall treatment this is, but I know exactly where I want to try to recreate it in my home.

We're 2 weeks away from my next market at Newark Makerhoods, and it's a special one as it's during my birthday week! 🎂

Come check out Sundays at the Market on August 30th in the courtyard behind the historic Krueger-Scott Mansion in Newark, NJ:

- Have You Met Newark Tours will be providing a tour of this magnificent mansion at 12PM

- Support small businesses (and me!) selling a variety of products and handmade goods

- Purchase locally-grown fresh fruits & vegetables at very affordable prices
