Just presented a new design for a complete kitchen gut and my clients loved it! It was so much fun developing a design solution for their space - kitchens are like giant puzzles- storage, work zones and overall flow must all be taken into account. Their kitchen has a few challenging pre-existing conditions, including a built in fireplace that is super cool but very bulky. After lots of trial and error I was able to create a highly efficient work zone along with a secondary “kids” zone, in addition to a floating island that opens to the family room. The end result is much more functional than their original plan and also beautiful! I can’t wait to see how it develops and will share more as we go along.

For now, here is a little corner of my own kitchen, which I did not gut, just refreshed 😉
