The owners of the apartment sent a lot of Korean design references when we discussed the future interior. The interior turned out with Asian motifs. Rice paper lamps above the island, Korean characters on the ho**ah wall, a large planter with a tree in the sofa area, a decorative lattice behind the bed in the bedroom.

The apartment is located in a modern residential complex in the suburbs of Moscow. The main advantages of the premises are free planning, high ceilings, strip glazing, floor-to-ceiling windows in all rooms and a window in the bathroom. The common space of the hallway, kitchen and living room is the best solution for this project. It looks most advantageous thanks to the tape glazing and high ceilings. The center of this zone is a tree next to the bench, symbolizing the family.

This project has an interesting history. We worked on the design of the DELO coworking space. The coffee shop was supposed to be in one of the premises - a place where coworking residents can relax, hold a business meeting or work with a laptop. We handed over the project, construction began, the customer called us and said that the concept had changed, there would be a gastrobar instead of a coffee shop.

Usually we ourselves develop the concept of the future interior. This time the concept was created by a team of restaurateurs. The future gastrobar was named Nomad. The gastrobar was supposed to become a point of attraction for a special social category of people who gained freedom thanks to modern technologies. NOMAD = TRAVELER = PIONEER. And we wanted to tell that story through design. How do you think it worked out?
