Matt Rubendall Knives - Rubyknives.com I've been making classical guitars in Brooklyn, NY, for twenty years.

Along the way I learned to make my own tools and found that I enjoyed that process as well. I've been making knives for a few years, and I put the same craftsmanship and detail in my knives that I do in my instruments.

I’ll be selling sharp pointy things at the Carroll Park fair in Carroll gardens brooklyn this Saturday 10/5 from 10am-5pm. This event is always fun and the weather will be perfect . Come see and try chef’s knives and other dangerous stuff.

Finished some new knives this week. 3- 8” maganacut chefs knives, Brazilian rosewood and Karelian birch handles. 2- 7” 52100 carbon steel chefs knives, Karelian birch and walnut handles. A 7” butchering knife carbon and 4.5 mini nakiri Aeb-l stainless. Dyed European hornbeam and Karelian birch. DM for prices, all knives come with wooden sheaths that I also make for each knife and I’ll ship anywhere in the US lower 48 for free. I have an upcoming outdoor sales event in brooklyn October 5 and I’ll have an open studio event 19-20 October .

Finished up some tools this last week. 2 sets of leather skiving knives. Boxwood and Brazilian rosewood handles, and a few sets of chisels with leather tool tools and white oak octagonal handles . All the steel is 80cvr2 carbon steel. Dm for prices on sets.
