At 902 Broadway, we teamed up with Industrious’s internal design team to bring a touch of Gilded Age glamour to an 18,200-square-foot coworking destination in the heart of the Flatiron District. The concept draws from the neighborhood’s history as part of the Ladies’ Mile—a lively stretch of Manhattan known for its “champagne sparkle,” where commerce, social life, and women’s growing independence came together. With arched forms, warm walnut, textured finishes, and a palette of olive, plum, and burgundy, the space reinterprets its inhabited neighborhood's Beaux-Arts and Classical Revival grandeur for how people work today.

Designed for 146 occupants across 35 offices and two suites, the floor centers on its shared spaces: a barrel-vaulted reception gallery, a café anchored by a walnut island and custom niche, and a sequence of lounges built for stepping away when needed.

Vita Coco Named a REmmy Awards Nominee

Vita Coco’s new NYC headquarters has been named a finalist for Project of the Year in the 0–20,000-square-foot category at the 2026 CoreNet NYC REmmy Awards—a recognition of a workplace designed to bring the brand’s unmistakable energy to life.

The design translates Vita Coco’s tropical identity through natural materials, lush greenery, woven textures, and sun-washed finishes, creating an immersive, vibrant environment that reflects the brand’s culture while balancing design ambition with a thoughtful, budget-conscious approach to the build.

We’re honored to see the project recognized among this year’s nominees and proud of the team and collaborators who brought it to life.

MKDA is honored to announce the establishment and endowment of the Milo Kleinberg Prize for Excellence in Architecture at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design's School of Architecture in Jerusalem, in honor of our founder, Milo Kleinberg.

The scholarship supports the next generation of architects and designers in Israel. The inaugural recipients are:

• Yogev Einav & Sivan Hagar — Alliance 2.0
• Stav Shapira & Ekatrina Sherman — At a Crossroads

Earlier this month, Michael and Josh Kleinberg attended the award ceremony, where Michael spoke to students about Milo's life, legacy, and the values that have guided MKDA since 1959.

He reflected on how Milo built the firm on a foundation of creativity, perseverance, and mentorship, and expressed his hope that those same values will live on through the designers and architects whose work this endowment will support for generations to come.

MKDA partnered with Vita Coco to create a vibrant new headquarters that brings the brand’s refreshing spirit to life through design. Inspired by the ease of a beachside getaway and the energy of New York City, the workplace blends natural materials, lush greenery, woven textures, and sun-washed finishes to create an immersive, wellness-driven environment.

Designed to support collaboration, creativity, and connection, the space features a mix of social hubs, focused work areas, meeting spaces, and product innovation zones—reflecting Vita Coco’s evolution while staying true to its entrepreneurial roots.

The result is a workplace that blurs the line between office and destination, capturing the vibrant personality of the brand in every detail.

Designing spaces is what we do. Building stronger communities is who we are.

Over the past month, our team has dedicated their time, expertise, and passion to causes that strengthen our communities and inspire future generations.

Project Managers Raymond Herrera and Howard Johnson mentored local high school students through the ACE Mentor Program of Greater New York, helping guide a visionary mixed-use development project from concept to completion.

Marketing & Brand Manager Emily Cacace proudly served on the committee for the Children’s Heart Foundation’s Long Island Congenital Heart Walk, where more than $230,000 was raised to advance life-saving congenital heart defect research. As both a committee member and parent of a child born with a congenital heart defect, the cause holds a special place in her heart. MKDA was proud to be an Activity Sponsor at the walk!

MKDA was also honored to serve as a Solid Gold Sponsor of the Rye Arts Center’s record-breaking Studio 51 Benefit, which raised $365,000 to support arts education and community outreach programs.

We’re incredibly proud of our team members for making an impact beyond the workplace and grateful for the opportunity to support organizations that are creating meaningful change.
