Renee Keil is an artist, actress, director and choreographer living in Pittsburgh in the summer and Stuart Fl in the winter. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where she studied dance and theater. As a theater artist, Renee has been heard in several commercial voice overs and industrials, and has acted in many area productions. Renee has worked as a director and/or choreographer for
Duquesne University, The University of Pittsburgh, Penn State Altoona, Starlight Productions and other local companies. She is a retired dance and theater educator having spent most of her teaching career at Chartiers Valley HS. She also taught dance in the pre-college musical theatre program at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, Renee is concentrating on her “visual arts”; painting in watercolor, pastels and oils. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, Pittsburgh Water Color Society, Pittsburgh Pastel Artists, McMurray Art League, Garrett County Arts Council, Martin County Arts Council and the Martin Artisans Guild. With her paintings, she hopes to continue depicting pictures of our human experiences...in a some what “theater” of the soul.
