This little girl had no idea she would one day run her own business.
She didn’t know about entrepreneurship.
She didn’t know about building a brand.
She didn’t know she would one day create experiences and build something of her own.
What she did know were her Guatemalan and Puerto Rican roots.
She grew up surrounded by women who worked hard, carried their families, and created beauty, culture, and community with whatever they had.
Women who didn’t always get recognition.
Women who didn’t always have the same opportunities, but kept moving forward anyway.
Years later, that little girl grew into a woman who creates, builds, and leads.
They built the foundation I’m currently standing on.
Today, I’m proud to be a woman business owner, creating experiences, building something meaningful, and continuing the story they started.
On International Women’s Day, I’m honoring my roots, my culture, and the women who made this path possible.
