šŸ¦‹šŸ¦‹šŸ¦‹šŸš•šŸ—½
Some moments are rare in and of themselves. But when you combine rare with the timing of things, it becomes ā€˜hashgacha pratit’ - divine providence.
Yesterday was my first day back in the concrete jungle and I had complete dĆ©jĆ  vu. I was meeting my friend Ortal Revivo Koma and I had a full throttle flash back to that exact moment a year before. I had come back from my month in Bali and we met up the next morning to go for coffee. Fast forward exactly one year, I’m back from Italy, and here we were again. Same meetup, same day, one year later. Only so much had happened, it felt like we had each lived 5. We recognized the moment.
Fast forward 15 minutes, we’re sitting at breakfast. In the exact sentence, just as Ortal was saying ā€˜letting go and being strong’ a monarch butterfly landed straight on my middle finger as I was putting my sandwich in my mouth. Now, the rarity of a monarch butterfly on a busy UES corner with honking cars and zero flowers surrounding it is rare. It landing on my finger mid-movement, rare. It staying on my finger for a solid minute - extra rare. But the timing of it all? Literally Ortal’s sentence ā€˜letting go and being strong’ being cut off by the butterfly landing - that is divine providence at its finest. There are moments that remain with you forever. I will never forget the symbolism of that moment - of letting go, of transformation, of hope, of beauty and individuality. This has been a year of transformation for me, and I’m so glad I put in all the hard work even when it felt hard as f**k. I feel good vibes for this year ahead and I am grateful for my friends, colleagues, and clients who stood by to support during the challenges. PS - tons of new butterfly decorative items at the store!! And PPS - thank goodness I had just gotten fresh nails Orit Orhov | Nail Artist NYC for this moment. Maybe the butterfly was attracted to the glitter.

What do you think of this moment???

The French Riviera, through my eyes šŸ‡«šŸ‡·āœØ

Inspired by my many trips to the South of France, this panoramic photograph captures everything I love about the Croisette. The palms, the umbrellas, the yachts in the distance… every detail perfectly balanced.

Art should transport you. This one takes me straight back to Cannes šŸ¤
