My love for Upstate NY started in Woodstock. What began as weekend family adventures from the city, has now grown into my business: Havaya’s Getaway offerings & vacation rental management. I consider Woodstock a second home, and am so in love with it’s creative and vibrant community.
Here are a few of Havaya’s recommendations for many of the local gems you’ll find while staying at the Shula Getaway - or any of our Getaways for that matter, Woodstock is a short drive from them all!

The Garden Cafe, Woman owned amazing vegan/vegetarian cuisine. You can’t go wrong with anything you order, but the veggie lasagna is one of my favs.

Three Turtle Doves, beautifully curated collection of vintage clothing, jewelry, and antique finds, also Woman owned!

Colony Woodstock, cute outdoor music and dining venue. The food is delicious and the live music is so fun,casual, and family friendly.

The Mud Club, open on the weekends for the most amazing woodfired sourdough pizza and bagels.
