Here’s a tasty recipe for Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Bake—a creamy, cheesy, and comforting dish that’s sure to become a family favorite!
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Pasta:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Cook the Garlic and Make the Sauce:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Combine the Chicken, Pasta, and Sauce:
Stir in the shredded chicken, basil, parsley, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, stirring until well coated with the sauce.
Assemble the Bake:
Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish and transfer the pasta mixture into the dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
Bake:
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
Serve:
