Products are handmade, in South Africa, of exotic indigenous materials such as feathers, ostrich eggs, leather, porcupine quills, suede, horns, ostrich shins, and a variety of game skins. We operate a sustainable model of s
ourcing & manufacturing: all of our products have been sourced from suppliers who are commiCed to ethical business practices. For clarity, this means that :
• all animal skulls have been sourced from game reserves where the animal has died in the wild, or been killed during a legislated cull
• all cow horns and leather have been sourced from farms whose primary business is raising cattle as a food source, and who sell the cow horns & skins as a by-product of food producRon
• the artisans working in the tanneries and factories in which our products are made are paid a living wage, and who work in a environment that is regularly examined by independent regulators.
