Bring a little taste of Italy to your kitchen with this classic Italian Supermarket Bread! 🍞🇮🇹 Perfectly soft inside, crusty outside, and ideal for sandwiches or dipping in olive oil. Who’s ready to bake? 🙌🥖

Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups warm water (about 110°F / 43°C)

2 tsp active dry yeast

2 tsp sugar

2 tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

Steps:
1️⃣ In a small bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Let sit 5-10 minutes until foamy.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add yeast mixture + olive oil.
3️⃣ Mix to form a dough, then knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4️⃣ Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
5️⃣ Punch down dough and shape into a round or oval loaf. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6️⃣ Cover again and let rise for 30-45 minutes. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
7️⃣ Using a sharp knife, make 3-4 diagonal slashes on top of the loaf.
8️⃣ Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden crust forms and loaf sounds hollow when tapped.

🧈 1 tbsp butter
🧅 1 small shallot or ¼ onion, finely chopped
🧄 1 garlic clove, minced
🍷 ¼ cup white wine (optional) or chicken/veg broth
🥛 1 cup heavy fresh cream
🧂 Salt & pepper, to taste
🌿 Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme), chopped (optional)

Steps:
1️⃣ Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add shallot/onion and sauté until soft (~3 min).
2️⃣ Add garlic, cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
3️⃣ (Optional) Add white wine or broth, simmer 2-3 min to reduce.
4️⃣ Lower heat, slowly pour in fresh cream while stirring.
5️⃣ Let it gently simmer 5-7 min until sauce thickens.

Ingredients:

1 large head Romaine lettuce, chopped

1/2 cup crumbled Cotija cheese (or Parmesan)

1 cup crunchy tortilla strips or crushed baked tortilla chips

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

1 avocado, diced

For the Dressing:

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)

1 garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon hot sauce (like Cholula or your favorite)

Salt & pepper, to taste

Steps:

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.

1 cup red lentils, rinsed

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large carrot, diced

1 celery stalk, diced

1 medium potato, peeled and diced

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

6 cups vegetable broth or water

Steps:

🔹 2 large chicken breasts
🔹 1 cup broccoli (steamed & chopped)
🔹 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
🔹 2 tbsp cream cheese

🔹 1 tbsp olive oil

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Butterfly each chicken breast (slice through the middle, don’t cut all the way).
3️⃣ In a bowl, mix broccoli, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt & pepper.

For Béchamel Sauce:

4 zucchini (halved & scooped)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 lb ground turkey (or plant-based alt)

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp oregano, ½ tsp thyme

¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Salt & pepper

1 cup cooked quinoa or rice

1 cup mozzarella (½ for topping)

¼ cup parsley, 2 tbsp basil (fresh herbs FTW 🌿)

🔪 How to Make It:
1️⃣ Prep Zucchini Boats:
Cut zucchini in half & scoop out centers. Chop the insides for later.
Brush boats with olive oil, season, & bake at 375°F for 10 mins.

2️⃣ Sauté Filling:
Cook onion in olive oil, add garlic. Add turkey (or plant-based), cook until browned.

½ cup veggie or chicken broth

¼ cup white wine (optional)

¼ cup grated Parmesan (+ more to serve)

2 tbsp lemon juice

¼ cup fresh basil (+ more to garnish)

Salt, pepper & red pepper flakes

1 lb pasta (fettuccine, linguine, penne, etc.)

🔥 How to Make It:
1️⃣ Sauté Veggies:
Cook onion in olive oil until soft. Add garlic for 30 sec.
Add zucchini + salt. Cook 7-10 mins till tender.

2️⃣ Simmer & Blend:
Pour in broth + wine. Simmer 5 mins.
Blend with Parmesan, lemon juice & basil until silky smooth.

3️⃣ Boil Pasta:
Cook your favorite pasta. Save 1 cup pasta water.

4️⃣ Combine & Toss:
Return sauce to pan, add pasta, toss together.

🌿 Zucchini Veggie Lasagna (Low-Carb & Delicious!)

🍽️ Ingredients:

4 medium zucchini (sliced lengthwise, ¼ inch)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 onion (chopped)

3 garlic cloves (minced)

1 red bell pepper (diced)

8 oz mushrooms (sliced)

2 cups fresh spinach

15 oz ricotta cheese

1 egg

½ cup chopped basil

2 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella

½ cup grated Parmesan

Salt, pepper, 1 tsp oregano

🔥 Optional: ½ tsp red pepper flakes

👩‍🍳 How to Make It:
1️⃣ Prep Zucchini:
Sprinkle zucchini slices with salt & let sit 10 mins. Pat dry.
Brush with olive oil & bake at 375°F for 10-12 mins.

2️⃣ Sauté Veggies:
Cook onion in olive oil until soft. Add garlic, bell pepper, mushrooms. Cook till liquid evaporates. Add spinach. Season.

3️⃣ Mix Ricotta:
Combine ricotta, egg, half the basil, salt & pepper.

4️⃣ Layer It Up:
In a 9x13 dish:
➤ Spread ½ cup marinara
➤ Add zucchini layer
➤ Spread half ricotta
➤ Add half veggie mix
➤ Sprinkle ⅓ mozzarella
Repeat layers. Finish with marinara, mozzarella & Parmesan.

5️⃣ Bake:
Cover with foil & bake 30 mins. Uncover & bake 15-20 mins more. Let rest 10 mins.

6️⃣ Serve:
Top with fresh basil 🌿 and enjoy!

Get that sizzling restaurant-style flavor at home in under 30 minutes! This Pepper Lunch-inspired dish is loaded with beef, buttery corn, garlic rice, and a kick of peppery sauce! 😍🍽️

✨ Ingredients (2 servings):

🍚 Garlic Rice:

2 cups cooked jasmine or short-grain rice 🍚

2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄

1 tbsp unsalted butter 🧈

🥩 Main:

200g thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye) 🥩

1/3 cup canned corn kernels 🌽

2 tbsp green onions, chopped 🌿

Salt & lots of black pepper 🧂⚫

1 tsp oil (for sizzling plate) 🛢️

🥣 Pepper Lunch Sauce (Optional but tasty!):

2 tbsp soy sauce 🥢

1 tbsp oyster sauce 🦪

1 tbsp honey 🍯

1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper ⚫

1 tsp sesame oil 🌰

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Make garlic rice: In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until golden. Mix in rice. Set aside. 🍚🧄

Prep sauce: Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, pepper & sesame oil in a bowl. Stir well. 🥣

Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle pan until very hot 🔥.

Add 1 tsp oil. Place garlic rice in the center, spreading into a circle. Add corn and beef slices around the rice 🍳.

Top with green onions, and sprinkle LOTS of black pepper 🌿⚫.

Pour sauce over everything, and let it sizzle! Stir and cook beef to your preferred doneness 🥩🔥.

Mix all together and enjoy the ultimate sizzling bite! 😋🍱
