Instructions:
β’ πͺ Cut the top third of a banana to serve as the peacockβs neck and head.
β’ π Slice the large oranges into thin half-moon wedges for the base of the tail.
β’ π Slice the remaining bananas into diagonal ovals to create the inner feathers.
β’ π½οΈ Arrange the orange wedges in a wide fan on a large plate.
β’ β¨ Layer the banana slices on top of the oranges to build volume.
β’ π Place halved grapes at the tips of the feathers and three on top of the head for the crown.
β’ π¨ Use small clementine slices to create the textured "chest" of the bird.
β’ ποΈ Attach the eyes and a small piece of fruit for the beak to finish the face.
Tips:
β’ π Lightly brush the banana slices with lemon juice to prevent them from browning.
β’ π§ This is a perfect "food art" project to get the kids excited about eating healthy.
β’ π§ Keep the fruit chilled until the very moment you are ready to serve for the best crunch.
