My work has a flair for versatility, elegance and audacity. There is a liquid quality to it: it is soothing, indulgent, and dramatic.

I love luxurious materials, a sense of comfort, welcoming and rich, yet with control and effortless understatement. I find the look of a room by my gut reaction, there's a capacity for whimsy and there are no rules. There is an attention to details, an inspired use of color, clean pared down lines so that individual objects' beauty can be appreciated. I like things to relate and be harmonious rath

Things do not need to be perfect, I am more interested in form rather than a particular period of style. Inspiration may come from a book or a film, the memory of a painting, an individual's own personal history.

Chandeliers! Obsessed! I selected this Vaughan Windermere chandelier for dining area in extra large kitchen; it needed a little “extra” to distinguish it from rest of the space. Sometimes it’s fun to review the before/after photographs! Main new bedroom: maximum cozy comfort, breezy colors, kept the chandelier and bedside tables. ❤️ Janet Nolan assemblage installation in Bloomingdales New York window displays. She was truly one of a kind, compassionate, gifted, smart, funny, gift wrapped in genuine beauty and a low key Southern drawl. I am grateful she left her art with us.

I fell into a Venetian dreamscape when I visited the New York Fortuny showroom….the collections now include umbrellas, notebooks, of course readymade throw pillows - all based in the Fortuny houses’ history and aesthetic vision. commissioned sculpture 1964 inspired by Mozart’s string quartet 17 in b flat major K458 The Hunt I love this sculpture in particular; Pop had an architectural model of Lincoln Center plaza in his studio. I’ve seen it relocated several times and now is perched on a second floor balcony now I don’t love it there but grateful it’s not stored in a basement!
