I loved knitting this gorgeous vest! It came to Washington with me last month, my travel project when I went to Flock, and it also came along to Block Island last week. This yarn subtly changes color as I knit, and the colors are so beautiful. It's also very soft and lightweight, and happened to go with what I was wearing today 😆
The pattern was interesting enough to keep me occupied but basic enough that I could read during the easier sections.
Yarn: Urth Yarns Spiral Grain sport (Colorways: Magnolia and Rosehip)
Tools: katy / katrinkles
Pattern: Rail Runner by Julia (Fräulein Städtisch) from Laine Publishing 52 Weeks of Sweaters

Thanks for being excited for our new Dusk Sky Sweater Stitch Markers! I'm currently using them in my Vaddel sweater (maybe it's my Rhinebeck Sweater?)
p.s. the yarn in the background of these pics is my pretty hand spun, from a batt made by She is Marguerite, from last year's Coggeshall Fiber Festival

Why are we talking about sweaters in the middle of August?
We've been dreaming about the Fall! There's still a few weeks left of summer, but when warm days give way to cooler nights, it's perfect for wood fires and comfy layers and time spent relaxing in the early autumn dusk.
These Dusk Sky Sweater Stitch Markers are cut from acrylic in a mix of colors that move from sunset to starry night, with all the shades of evening in between. Use them on projects in preparation of the fall and they might just call those cool nights closer!

Someone asked me this at DFW Fiber Fest last year, and it took me a second to realize she was asking if the Pattern Placeholder sits above or below the current line in my pattern. 😆😆😆 To answer her question, I’m a below person! How about you?

Brought my knitting, some BFFs, and a good book out to Block Island yesterday and it was the most incredible day. The water was crystal clear, the company was perfect, taxi drivers entertaining, and the weather was epic.
Five stars, totally recommend!!!
