I like a good greasy spoon for breakfast, and will often stop at Waffle House when I’m on the road. Was totally surprised by this sticker on the register. Note that they’re not even hiding the fact that corporate is keeping 10%. It’s a “to go” fee!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to the person here who commented on the recent post from someone asking how to remove the baked on crud from their stove... They suggested using a RAZOR BLADE to scrape it off.

We bought this stove second hand 8 years ago and I tried everything I could think of to get this stuff off, but eventually resigned and thought that maybe it wasn't actually crud but a ruined finish.

Well it WAS crud and it scraped right off so satisfyingly with a razor. Then I used the Pink Stuff to clean up the little remnants and my oven looks brand new- better than it's ever looked since we got it.

I'm forever in your debt, random commenter.

I always thought these were scratches on my bowls and couldn't be removed
I was looking for info on using Bar Keeper's Friend for another cleaning project and found a reddit post about their product being able to remove marks on ceramic dishes from utensil use. HOLY COW what a difference! I felt so accomplished getting a stark before and after 😁

NOTE: I am not a cleaning pro and have no info on other uses for this product and what is safe for. I do not know about alternatives if this isn't available to you. The comments have tips from other people about different methods that could also work.

Update 1 to add info on the steps I took: I used the Bar Keeper's Friend Soft Cleanser, so I poured a little on and immediately scrubbed a small area with a paper towel to see if it would even work. When it did, I put on cleaning gloves and switched to the scrubby side of a regular kitchen sponge.

Update 2 for bowl info: Bowls are from a brand named Gibson purchased 25+ years ago

I somehow managed to get hot glue all over this T-shirt, and unfortunately, **it’s on both sides.** I’ve already tried scrubbing it with vinegar, but that didn’t seem to do anything.

I really don’t want to ruin the fabric trying to get it off. **Is there a safe and effective way to remove dried hot glue from clothing?**

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, so apologies if it isn’t. I’m really hoping someone has some advice!

I finally found the **perfect coffee mug** for me. It checked every box on my list—perfect size, comfortable handle, nice wall thickness, and great heat retention.

There’s just one problem… **the phrase printed on it.** 😂 It’s simply not something I’d ever want written on my mug.

The lettering is slightly raised, but I can’t seem to scratch or scrape it off. I also don’t want to damage the glaze underneath or ruin the mug.

**Has anyone successfully removed lettering like this? What’s the safest way to get the words off without damaging the mug?** Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
