Today is a day of food prep, meal prep, and using leftovers after grocery shopping.

I used left over pork chops and random veg for stirfry and portioned it for my work lunches.

I sliced & prepped Philly cheese steak, then placed all the parts except buns together in a gallon ziplock to freeze for a later meal. I’m about to do the same for fajitas. I also sealed and froze chicken thighs and steaks that were on sale.
Next up to cook up some tikka masala then portion over leftover mashed potatoes & freeze for more school meals. Not traditional, but it will work.
I bought several bags of potatoes too to can next week.

One of my goals on my homestead is to find ways to reuse and upcycle. Here I upcycled a pair of non-repairable jeans, a towel with too many holes, and the plastic netting oranges came in.
The towel and denim were cut to size then pinned to the netting (which stretches so be careful), and sewed wrong way out.
I flipped it to the correct side, added my tag and then sewed around the whole thing to finish it and make it sturdier.
These will be for sale in my shop as soon as I upload the images!
