If you guessed Boogie Oogie Blue as the top selling colorway, (you all did šŸ˜‚) then you were correct! Coming in close behind is Call Me and Moving In Stereo.
And not to sound like a broken record but Let the Good Times Roll pre-order is only open for a couple more days! This has been the longest running pre-order so hopefully yā€™all arenā€™t sick of it by now šŸ˜† Iā€™ll be closing it down Sunday 6pm et.

Suri Silk is one of my favorite bases so when this pattern debuted I knew it was perfect to showcase a few of the new colorways. Iā€™m using Soft Sock in Xanadu for the main color and for the contrast colors I chose, Call Me, Colorburst, Heat of the Moment, Xanadu, and Moving in Stereo on Suri Silk.

When I created this collection I knew it would make for the perfect Stripe Hype sweater by Instead of keeping one main color throughout, I used all three blues - Boogie Oogie Blue, Denim After Dark, and Moving In Stereo. To make it even more fun, I also alternated the contrast colors - Heat of the Moment, Colorburst, and Call Me. The Let the Good Times Roll collection is now available for pre-order and ready-to-ship on eight of our signature bases.

Over the past year, Iā€™ve been intentionally refining and curating the base lineup here at Newburgh Yarn Co. While I love experimenting with new yarns and fibers, I also wanted to be more thoughtful about what truly earns a permanent place in the collection. Taking the time to work repeatedly with the same bases has allowed me to really see how each one dyes up, knits up, and wears over time. The bases featured in this collection have proven themselves again and again. They hold color beautifully, feel incredible, and most importantly, are the ones I continue reaching for myself. Creating a more intentional lineup also means less waste, less excess, and a more focused collection overall, which feels especially important to me as a small business.

DENIM AFTER DARK is a rich indigo blue inspired by the dark washes and fitted designer denim that defined the late 70s and early 80s, made for nights out, loud music, and everything that came after. During this time period, denim had officially stepped out of the everyday and into pop culture. Thanks to brands like Gloria Vanderbilt and Calvin Klein, jeans became sleek, fitted, and just a little provocative. And of course, there was the now-iconic campaign featuring a very young Brooke Shields in a pair of impossibly tight Calvin Kleins, a commercial that stirred controversy and instantly cemented designer denim as a cultural obsession.

COLORBURST is a warm, vibrant sunny yellow inspired by the bold packaging and unmistakable branding of Kodak instant cameras at the turn of the 1980s. Named after the Kodak Colorburst 100 camera, produced from 1978 to 1980, this colorway captures the bright optimism and instant gratification of the analog era, when every moment felt worth documenting. Kodakā€™s instant cameras became a popular alternative to Polaroid before a legal battle in the early 1980s abruptly ended production, turning the Colorburst into a short lived piece of photography history.
