Guess who filed for a tax extension? This girl. Why? Because 2026 decided to be EXTRA: buying a bar/restaurant, trying to liquidate Festive Creations by Stephanie (still happening — send caffeine), moving the whole circus, and parenting two 10- and 11-year-olds with peak attitude. Taxes? Cute idea.

This has been an incredibly heavy week for our community. 🤍

We are all mourning the loss of a beautiful 12-year-old young girl who took her own life, and our hearts are broken for her family, friends, and everyone who loved her. There are no words that truly make sense of something so painful.

It reminded me how connected we all are—parents, teachers, grandparents, neighbors, and mentors alike. The way we speak, the way we listen, the way we model kindness and respect… it all matters more than we sometimes realize.

As a community made up of strong, caring, creative women, many of us who have nurtured children in one way or another, this feels especially close to the heart. Let’s continue to look out for one another. Let’s check in. Let’s lead with compassion and grace.

If nothing else, may this moment remind us to be a little gentler, a little kinder, and a little more aware of the quiet battles others may be fighting.

Our hearts are with this family and with every young person who has ever felt unseen or unheard. 🤍

This year has brought a lot of unexpected changes for us. After our last sale, life took another turn: our great-nephew, Eli, was diagnosed with serious heart issues and is currently undergoing open-heart surgery.
