Yesterday was a monumental day to take REALTOR® pledge (known as the REALTOR® oath) of the National Association of REALTORS® and also becoming a part of the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors. I also got my official REALTOR® pin!

I recently saw that Beverly Homes was voted Best Home Builder two years in a row, and after touring homes with my client, I can see why! The craftsmanship and attention to detail really stood out. One thing I appreciated was that their new development focuses on building only a few homes at a time, allowing them to truly focus on quality and the homeowner experience instead of rushing through large volumes of construction. Congrats Beverly Homes!

🏡 ❤️ Today was RED DAY | Renew. Energize. Donate. for Keller Williams. If you can’t tell by my cheesy smile, I had such an amazing time. I absolutely love doing construction and the ability to give back in that way always makes my heart smile. The woman taking the picture, “G”, was also hilarious and keeping me laughing all day 🤣❤️. I’m so glad I got this opportunity to give back to the community through Habitat for Humanity, alongside my kw colleagues and real estate sponsors.

WHAT IS RED DAY?

Red Day is Keller Williams Annual Day of Service. It is our company-wide volunteer day. Red Day was created to strengthen the company’s culture of service and to honor one of its most influential leaders, Mo Anderson, on her birthday.

It takes place every year on the second Thursday in May. On this day, associates across the world pause their real-estate work to focus entirely on community service.

Local Favorite! Grumpy Monk is one our the local favorites for upscale southern comfort food! We actually always order it from Doordash, and this was our first time visiting their location in Carolina Forest. To our surprise the kids meals came in beach buckets! 🌊 🤩They loved it.

When you have a short-term rental, you want it to be memorable… in a good way. Stand out by offering things guests don’t usually find, but that you always wish you had. And when the unsolicited advice rolls in, "That’s not really necessary… no one else does that"… don’t listen! Trust your gut. The fact that "no one else does that" is EXACTLY why you should!

When I travel with my kids, the only things that seem to distract them in an Airbnb or hotel are the fancy, breakable art pieces, jumping on the bed, or the pool that preparing for is an event in itself. The pile of toys we brought? Forgotten within minutes. And then it’s a chorus of, "Can we go to the pool yet?" every five minutes. That’s what inspired me to create a "toy chest" filled with “new” toys just for the kids who arrive! And let’s be honest…this was really for the parents, so they might finally get an extra hour of peace. Why has it taken our industry so long to catch on? Car business, and doctor waiting rooms have been doing it since I can remember!

This simple addition has influenced my 5-star rating on AirBnB 100%. And if you know anything about short-term rentals, this can make or break your success!

I love this place, it has such great energy! I moved here in June 2024, and one of the reasons I was attracted to Myrtle Beach was that I could live in a suburb that is excellent for families, and only 20 minutes away from the beach, which is lined with unique restaurants like these!
