Accessible Master Suite Transformation | Brighton, Michigan

This Brighton, Michigan project was a complete accessible home remodeling transformation.

BFA, LLC Contractor & Disability Consultant converted an existing office and family room into a new wheelchair-accessible master suite designed around mobility, safety, comfort, and long-term use.

The project included a new master bedroom, closet, wheelchair-accessible wet room, barrier-free roll-in shower, widened doorways, double doors, and new wood flooring to improve movement throughout the space.

A Vertical Platform Lift was also added to improve accessible entry into the home.

This is what specialized home accessibility modifications look like: redesigning the existing home so it works better for the person living in it.
