Well after much Ta Do I’ve aquired a Foil Farie and she does well ! I’m grateful as I just dislike foiling with a passion ! 🧐 anyhow Pic 1 silver soldered, Pic 2 Patina applied, Pic 3 frame n lead came pre-soldered …. Next time I post it will the first Sun shot…. Then off to forever home !!!! 😎 was a fun little project … ROCK ON MY HUMANS 😎

Ive not met the goal of having this ready yet, life has a way of interfering with my little plans LOL 😂 … anyhow it’s almost done… the Fairey tapers did jot appear and once again I’m disappointed… whos using them ? So the taping is almost done UGG…. I get points for that, right ! I decided the Red key must stay though I’ve no credible reason why… it’s a fun little piece and easy enough though I must admit one of my audience members warned about pressures and Glasswork (deadlines), and he was correct the two do not mix LMAO 😎 ROCK ON MY HUMANS

So I did this design 5 months ago and cut the stickers but never got on it …. I’m going to Tennessee on Friday to teach my Son how to BBQ/Smoke a Turkey on his 22 inch Weber Grill !!! so I realized I didn’t get his Lady a gift so I busted this design out this morning and I’m in process grinding out the pieces… Red/white/black/clear … tomorrow will be foiling ….UGG …. foiling is no Bueno … (I put in a request for a foil fairy but that never works) so the rush is on to have it completely complete by Friday … 😎. ROCK ON MY HUMANS 😎

I’m digging the house especially on the light board (pic 2)… now to tie these 3 pieces together UGG gonna be interesting...

So I was struggling with the stone colors of the house… because it’s stones I tried to be aware of glass grain… no consistency was the goal along with colors of contrast within itself n shading and to compliment the blue door… I decided to do just the front with my color choice and had to foil to see the break up to get a sense of realism… also if I decided to change colors I didn’t wanna invest total time until I felt the “Jazz”… Glassies will understand ! …. so what’your take… I value objective views and find wisdom in the Masses 😎 feel free to express your views … their valuable !!!

So I spent some time to do the door n circle stained glass window and frame and the main window with curtains … the door window was tough to grind out to accept the window as did the oval window frame (pic 2)… at least that’s what I see in my mind … we shall see how it collides once I start the rocks on the main structure… It kinda feels like the perspective is off but maybe that’s my crazy brain …… there I said the hard part ! 😎

It’s been an absolutely awesome morning… after much Ta,Do I turned up the jams n Soldered the lighthouse (pic 2) and then Patina on said Solder … and WoLa she’s Rockin the beach … hmmm the proportional view is slightly fatter than the painting I made the Pattern from but I couldn’t make the small bricks being slender…. SO…. Having a blast just jetting along… PS you guys have been much help with guidance and encouragement… THANK YOU ! ROCK ON MY HUMANS 😎

So 16 hrs in and the lighthouse is ready for Solder … I trim each piece of copper foil because 3/16 is too thick and covers up too much of the glass in small pieces (pile of trimmings) … I tried to pick each piece randomly to highlight seascape corrosion on the bricks… don’t know if I pulled it off or not … it has also grown a bit taller which is fine with me because I use the pattern for reference most of the time so I’m way use to that … anyhow I’m digging it thus far … Solder will be tomorrow then off to the house… then I got a lot of thinking to do with respect to background …UGG 😎

Moving fwd with the lighthouse… Stickers are cut …I’ve done lighthouses before though this one’s gonna be challenging…. I had to make it a little bigger than the actual picture because I need to show the sky within the windows and it has to be distinct!!! A bit aggressive but that’s kinda the point… pushing the limits ! CARRY ON MY HUMANS 😎
