We’re starting to plan the 2026 Lakes Area Home Tour, and we want your help finding the homes that make our community special.

The Lakes Area Home Tour is coming back for round two! We’re excited to announce the 2nd Annual Lakes Area Home Tour happening on Saturday, October 10.

Mark your calendar now. This self-guided tour will once again showcase beautiful homes, smart design ideas, and spaces that support living well at any age. If you loved it last year, you’ll love what we’re planning next. And if you missed it, consider this your official nudge.

What an incredible day for our community! Thanks to the amazing homeowners who opened their doors, the volunteers who gave their time and energy, and everyone who participated in the Lakes Area Home Tour, we had an incredible turnout: each home welcomed an average of 530 visitors through their doors!

Because of that amazing support, we raised just shy of $40,000!

Your generosity will help Elevate continue our mission of helping our communities age well — through programs, services, and connections that make a difference every day.

Get ready for a day full of inspiration, creativity, and community fun! Before you head out, here are a few quick reminders:

👟 Remove your shoes (or use the provided shoe covers)
🚪 Respect all signage — private areas are marked, and bathrooms are not for public use.
🎟️ Sign up for the giveaways at each home!
📸 Snap some photos — we’d love to see your favorites!
🗺️ Visit the homes in any order between 10am–5pm.
🍹 Stop at Lakeside Tap for your free drink — coupon’s right on your ticket!
📘 You’ll receive a Home Tour booklet at your first stop — complete with a map, home details, and some fun activities to enjoy along the way!

You’ll need to remove your shoes before entering each home. If you can’t take your shoes off, booties will be provided. Big thanks to All Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning of Ottertail, MN for keeping us covered—literally!
