Oh, these chairs are beautiful! And I especially love all the little details that went into them.

The gorgeous floral fabric, contrasting welt, and beautiful tape trim along the skirts. And look closely at how the pattern is placed exactly the same on both chairs!

As a designer, I’m not just looking at how fabrics, colors, and furniture work together. I’m also paying close attention to the quality of the workmanship and the way each piece is tailored.

Those details really do matter, and when they’re done this beautifully, I think they’re worth showing off!

I’ve always believed that a beautiful piece of furniture should be something you can enjoy for years and years.

I love this gorgeous leather Chesterfield-style sofa in my client’s home. It’s a classic piece with so much character, and we added these beautiful custom embroidered pillows with beaded trim.

One of my favorite details is that we selected the pillow fabric to work with the client’s existing rug. We didn’t need to start over with everything to make it feel beautifully pulled together.

When I’m helping clients choose furniture, I’m thinking about quality, comfort, beautiful craftsmanship, and how each piece will work with the things they already own and love.

That’s how you create a home that still feels beautiful and personal years from now.

Sometimes your bedroom just needs a little refresh, and you don’t have to start all over!

This client already had a beautiful headboard and Euro pillows she loved, so we kept those and added a few special touches.

A gorgeous Matouk duvet cover and shams with scalloped chain detailing, along with a custom bolster pillow finished with the prettiest brush fringe.

I love how those little details make such a difference. Sometimes it’s just about finding the right pieces to bring everything together. ❤️

Oh, how I love seeing beautiful custom draperies installed!

These are especially lovely. The embroidered fabrics, tassel trim along the leading edges, and the beautiful beaded detailing. Each one has something a little different that makes it special.

I’ve always loved those extra details that you might not notice from across the room, but when you get a little closer, you can really appreciate them. 💕

I’ve always believed a beautiful home should be one you can really enjoy living in.

I love beautiful fabrics, wonderful antiques, and all the little details that make a room special. But I also want people to feel comfortable enough to sit down and relax.

To me, that’s when you know a room is really working. Beautiful to look at, but even better to spend time in.

One of my favorite things about High Point Market is getting to see so many beautiful new pieces, but just as much, I love getting to spend time with the wonderful people behind them!

Chelsea House has long been one of my favorite lines to work with, and they’ve been such a wonderful part of my business.

I especially enjoyed meeting Jamie Merida and seeing his beautiful new collection for Chelsea House. So many lovely pieces!

There’s just something special about the relationships you build in this industry, and I’m always grateful for the people who help me bring beautiful things into my clients’ homes.

When you can see several rooms from one spot, you want them to feel connected without making everything match.

One of the first things I look at is what you can see from one room into the next.

I love choosing a color palette that carries throughout the home, then giving each room a little personality of its own. Maybe it's a beautiful fabric that picks up a color from the next room, a wood finish that complements the furniture nearby, or a paint color that works beautifully with both spaces.

And please, don't feel like every room needs the same furniture style or finishes. Some of my favorite homes have a wonderful mix of old and new.

The goal is for everything to feel like it belongs together, even when each room has its own personality.

I love a beautiful wallpaper. It’s such a fun way to bring color, pattern, and a little personality into a room.

And you don’t need a big space to make it work. A powder room, laundry room, or even an office can be a wonderful place to try something a little more interesting.

If you’ve been thinking about adding wallpaper somewhere in your home, I say go for it! You might be surprised how much you love the difference.

It has nothing to do with the furniture, and everything to do with what’s happening at the windows.

I’ve always loved the difference beautiful custom draperies can make in a room. Even when everything else is in place, adding the right fabric, fullness, and length can completely change how the space feels.

And this is where you can have a little fun with pattern and color. Draperies don’t have to be plain or blend into the walls. Sometimes they’re one of the prettiest details in the entire room.

It’s one of those finishing touches I never get tired of seeing come together.

Luxury in a home has very little to do with filling it with expensive things.

For me, it’s the details that make everything feel considered. The way a drapery falls, the warmth of a lamp in the evening, a beautiful old piece mixed with something new, or fresh flowers & branches clipped from the yard.

Those little decisions add up. And they’re often the difference between a room that’s simply pretty and one that feels really special.
