One of the first questions we hear from designers is, "How do I find a manufacturer?"

It's a good question. But it's usually not the first one you need to answer.

Before you start reaching out to mills or comparing production options, take time to get clear on what you're creating. Who is it for? What kind of product do you want to bring to market? What materials, price point, and production method make the most sense for your vision?

The truth is, there isn't one perfect manufacturer. Every mill has different strengths, capabilities, minimums, and specialties. Finding the right fit starts with understanding your product, not searching for a list of manufacturers.

When you have a clear vision, choosing the right manufacturing partner becomes much easier.

And if you're at that stage and aren't sure what comes next, send us a message. We'd love to help you explore the possibilities.

✨ This Week on the Blog

You don’t need to redecorate your whole house just because fall is coming. 🍂

Sometimes a room is simply asking for another layer.

This week, we’re talking about the small, thoughtful shifts that can make your home feel ready for cooler mornings, earlier evenings, and a little more time curled up inside, without losing what already feels like you.

As summer gives way to full calendars, fresh routines, and busy days, here's a gentle reminder to carry with you.

Your worth isn't measured by how much you accomplish.
And rest isn't something you have to earn.💛

Building a fabric line requires an investment. There's no getting around that.

But one of the biggest misconceptions is what that investment actually looks like.

Many designers picture warehouses, hundreds of fabrics, and massive inventory before they've even started. In reality, most successful fabric lines begin much more intentionally.

A thoughtful collection. Professional samples. The right manufacturing partner. A clear plan for getting your work in front of buyers.

You don't have to launch like an established textile brand on day one. You just have to take the first step toward becoming one.

Start with a collection you believe in, invest where it matters most, and let your business grow from there.

And remember, you don't have to figure it all out on your own. If you're exploring the idea of building a fabric line, send us a message. We'd love to be part of the conversation.

Creating a fabric line is a more specialized path, and one that sits a little deeper within the interiors industry.

In this model, your designs aren’t just applied to products, they become the material itself. You’re designing textiles that are used in upholstery, drapery, and other elements that shape how a space comes together.

That means your work moves beyond individual designs. You’re building cohesive collections, considering how patterns work together, and making decisions around color, scale, and repeat in relation to how the fabric will live in a space.

The process also involves a closer relationship with production. You’re working with mills, understanding how fabrics are made, and making decisions about quality, durability, and use.

It’s a path that requires both creative and technical understanding, and often a longer-term approach to building a collection.

Like the other paths, it’s less about what’s better, and more about what fits the kind of work you want to create and the role you want your designs to play.

A favorite chair. Soft afternoon light. A throw that's been reached for one too many times to count.

The beauty of home isn't in perfection, it's in the moments that invite you to stay a little longer.

"Kind people are our kind of people" has always been more than a tagline.

It's the heart behind everything we create.

We believe kindness makes room for people. It builds connection. It turns ordinary moments into meaningful ones.

If you're someone who leads with compassion, offers encouragement, or simply tries to make the world a little softer, you're our kind of people. 💛
