The need for a dining table in a small area led to the re-design of this behind-the-sofa table. 6" was added to make it counter height allowing the kitchen counter stools to be used as needed. The table folds out to seat four and can be closed to half or three-quarters its size to allow movement in the room when it is not used for dining. At three-quarter size it is easily used as a buffet table. Re-purposing furniture to accommodate more than one need adds to the functionality of a space.
