Wishing you a slow and boring Sunday. I am an ADHD business owner and it’s always so hard not to try and do it all every day. This year I have committed to slowing down and trying to do things just to do things. It’s honestly so hard! Today I’m watching Pride & Prejudice and trying to catch up on Bunny so I can start How to Kill a Guy in Ten Dates. I haven’t read a five star book in what feels like years. Please help a girl out - what was the last book that absolutely shook you to your core? Please share!! 🩷

2025, you changed everything. 💌

From shipping orders to 324 indie bookstores (most of which were woman-owned!), to becoming a six-figure business, to my first romance book signing as a vendor, this year stretched me, humbled me, and surprised me in the best ways.

There were highs. There were lows. There were very few days off.
 And somehow…there was romance anyway.

Thank you for supporting my little bookish dream, for lighting these candles in your homes, and for letting Literari grow into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

Here’s to rest, refinement, and even more romance in 2026.

ever wondered what it’s like to run a candle business while also homeschooling and making 90% of your own products!? (It’s wildly chaotic tbh)

Here’s a peek at what a day in my life looks like from my morning oatmeal to late-night tote bag pressing while binge-watching HBO.

candles don’t label themselves, and someone’s gotta romanticize the daily ins and outs. Not photo’d: almost *always* have an audiobook on. Currently listening to the anxious generation bc yes sometimes nf will get me 
swipe through if you’re nosy (same), business-minded, or just here for the vibes 🩷

The last of the 400 candles I made last week with a knee busted to bits. Part of having dopamine dysfunction is absolutely ✨ no ✨ balance or coordination and it turns out when you’re 33, you can’t attempt throwing on wide leg jeans on stone bathroom tile with only 2 minutes to spare before needing to be out the door for a bang trim. And falling in your thirties is not like falling in your twenties 😅

But the show must go on, you can’t really take sick days when you’re running a business solo. So this week will be lots of last minute touches on the summer collection, getting orders out, and attempting to dream about fall candles when it’s scorching outside. Wish me luck!
