When I first saw this pattern I immediately thought of my good friend Elizabeth Webb Roehl who was the ultimate animal lover, especially with her family's minagerie of poodles. I was in the process of making this for her, as a surprise, when we lost her unexpectedly. Her husband and daughters have it now and I pray that this small token will bring a smile to their face whenever they think about her and remember what a wonderful woman she was.
