I’m home!!!! 14 hours later!!!

This is a true depiction of me after stopping mid drive home to visit my most amazing Aunt’s and them sending me home with lots of Bella Napoli cookies!

🍪Best way to break up a long drive. Great conversation with those you love, coffee, and the best cookies in the world!☕️

Sleep then back to work tomorrow. Looking forward to see all my beautiful quilting friends at Bits N' Pieces Quilt Shoppe soon.

My last project I worked on a tiny bit. Got two rows joined together!
🌈 Socialization was at a max for me this retreat. I cherish the many friendships I’ve gained. I can always find time to sew at home, sometime. But hey, this project has come further in 2 days than it had in years.

Last day at the quilt retreat always brings so many emotions. One of gratitude for friendships and connection, joy and pride, belonging and the want for more!
I’ve enjoyed every single second of this trip. I came in early to help Amy and her team with things here at the Ultimate Quiltapalooza and got to do a little sewing on the tail end too.

My heart is so full and looking forward to the next time I can come back. Although the event isn’t over, it’s Runway Show time, it’s time to pack up the car and get a good night sleep for hitting the road very early tomorrow.

🌙 Late night sewing. I made it to 12:30 am. No record breakers for me this sewing retreat. I needed to save energy for my last full day here tomorrow. Then the long drive home Monday.

🌠 I did get two quilt tops completed and ready to be long armed though!

#1 Carpenter Star, a quilt along with Oh Kaye Quilting, finally put on my last border and made the binding.

#2 Spark, a class I am teaching on September 19th at Bits N' Pieces Quilt Shoppe for National Sew a Jellyroll Day with a pattern from Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design. Come join me it uses the Tucker Trimmer and V Block tool.
