Part 1 of a pair of end tables that will be on their way to Texas in a few days. Lumber is Colorado beetle kill pine. Total boat deep pour epoxy with pacific blue pigment. Rubio monocoat oil plus 2C was used as the hard wax oil finish.

This was an interesting build for sure. The doors purchased were technically too big for the pre-framed opening. But the customer really liked them and wanted to see if we could make it work. Ended up building a frame for the inside of the office and after attaching, it did all the trim out for the final touches. Overall, the doors function well, and overall install looks good in my opinion.

This was a unique project. We’ve completed multiple orders for this retired Army veteran. I was asked if I be interested in trying to restore his mother‘s old and weathered phone desk. While we don’t typically do furniture restoration, this one seemed to have a lot of sentimental meaning, and I felt it was worth the time and effort to take this project on. Overall, I think the end result turned out pretty well.
