🐾 A Big Thank You to Countryside Groom & Board LLC.! 🐾
Our sweet, large, and shy Old English Sheepdog, Murphy, had a grooming appointment today with Countryside Groom & Board LLC, and he is already so much more comfortable!
Murphy spends most of his days running through the pasture, taking walks around town, and living his best spoiled farm dog life. Unfortunately, all that moisture and outdoor fun led to matting, despite our best brushing efforts. After discussing our options with the groomers, we decided on a complete shave-down to give him a fresh start. We have now scheduled regular grooming appointments every few weeks to help keep him
comfortable and healthy moving forward.
While Murphy is an incredibly sweet dog, he struggles with being away from his mama, is very shy around people, and absolutely does not enjoy being groomed. Because of his anxiety and stress, he did have to be muzzled during his appointment.
What impressed me most was the care, patience, and professionalism shown by the team. They thoroughly explained the different grooming options, treated Murphy kindly throughout the process, and handled his fear-based aggression with understanding and compassion. They truly prioritized his well-being every step of the way.
On top of that, their pricing was incredibly reasonable. For everything Murphy needed, the total was under $80, which was an amazing value.
