ChatGPT can give you ideas…
but it can’t walk your space, catch layout mistakes, or make sure everything actually works together in real life.

That’s where a designer comes in.

Avoiding one costly mistake can easily cover the cost of design.

If you’re planning a kitchen and want it done right the first time, send me a message.

When designing a kitchen you don’t want to think about only what the cabinets look like from the outside, but how they also function on the inside! Comment “Kitchen” if you need help with your Kitchen Design!

This is one of those layouts where nothing is technically wrong… but everything feels a little off.

And that’s usually a layout issue.

Small changes = better flow, better function, better visual balance and a kitchen that actually works for you.

If you’re second guessing your design… trust that feeling.

If you’re planning a kitchen renovation, don’t start with finishes.

I know it’s tempting to pick cabinets, countertops, all the pretty things… but none of that matters if your layout isn’t right.

This is where I see people make the most expensive mistakes, ordering cabinets before the layout is fully thought through.

A beautiful kitchen that doesn’t function well? You’re going to feel that every single day.

I fix this for clients all the time before they order anything.

If you’re having doubts about your layout, that’s usually a sign something’s off, message me and I’ll take a look.

There’s been a lot of conversation lately about whether the kitchen work triangle is outdated.

In reality, it was never meant to be a rigid rule, just a way to create efficiency between key areas of the kitchen.

What’s changed is how we live.

Kitchens today are multi-functional, often shared spaces. Good design now considers zones, movement, and real-life use, while still maintaining that core principle of efficiency.

A thoughtful layout should feel intuitive. If it doesn’t, there’s usually something worth revisiting. Comment “Kitchen” is you need help with your layout!

You’ve probably heard this:
“Everything needs to be the same color temperatures.”

But some of the best interiors don’t follow that rule.

Mixing warm and cool tones, when done intentionally, creates contrast, depth, and a space that actually feels designed.

Think complementary colors… they’re literally built on this concept.

It’s not about matching.
It’s about balance.

If you’re questioning your kitchen layout… don’t ignore it.

That feeling usually means something isn’t working the way it should.

And the worst time to figure that out?
After everything is installed.

I’ve helped so many people catch issues before they became expensive mistakes.

If you want a second opinion before you commit, message me!

I hear this all the time…
“Hiring a designer is too expensive.”

But what’s actually expensive?
Fixing mistakes after everything is already installed.

I’ve seen it with layouts, appliance clearances, and even something as simple as a $1,000 hood decision that didn’t need to happen.

My job isn’t to have you spend more,
it’s to help you spend your budget right the first time.

And a lot of times, that alone can offset my design fee.

Most people don’t notice these… until they’re living with them every day

• Misaligned countertops
• No landing space by ovens
• Fridge doors that don’t fully open

Good kitchen design isn’t just about how it looks, it’s how it functions

Corners of my home that have made me happy lately.

As much as I love a full transformation…
these are the spaces that matter most.

Layered, collected, a little imperfect,
the kind of beauty that can’t be rushed.

I have been wanting to refinish this little plant stand, stamp dated all the way from 1918! I finally found some time and a little extra milk paint from a project to finally get to it! Now it has a sweet new spot in one of the favorite corners in my 1725 home!

✨ Available Now! PM for details! ✨

Found this secretary desk at a flea market during my Poconos vacation. Prices there were way cheaper compared to here—if only my SUV had endless room! 😂

I refinished this unique piece using a custom color mix from leftover paints. For a touch of charm, I added apothecary pulls to the little drawers. Lightly distressed with a pop of green on the insert to keep it neutral yet lively. L 36” x D 14” x H 44”
