It's starting to feel a little spooky these days. The weather is a little bit cooler and the garden is starting to go into stasis. Leaves have started falling from the trees and earlier sunsets are a reminder of the change of seasons. Both summer to autumn and winter to spring seem to reflect that change. It's a little more abrupt than the seasonal change from fall to winter or spring into summer. Either way, it's my favorite time of the year.
