See how your rug is really washed. 💦

Most people drop off their rug and never get to see what happens next.

At Northside Carpet, we want families to experience the process.

Oriental rugs need more than a quick surface cleaning. They require careful washing, rinsing, and attention to the way each rug is made.

Children can watch, ask questions, and take part in selected safe activities while our experienced team remains responsible for the rug.

Bring your rug. Bring your kids. Come see how we really wash rugs.

Every rug has a journey.

Some rugs have been in a family for generations. Some were brought home from travels around the world. Others simply became part of everyday family life.

When a rug comes to Northside, the first step is understanding what it needs before the washing begins.

Our team looks at its construction, fibers, colors, condition, and any areas needing special attention.

And when the kids come along, they get to see that journey from the very beginning.

Bring your rug. Bring your family. Come see what happens next.

Passing down a tradition. ❤️

For more than 125 years, Northside Carpet has been caring for Oriental rugs in Pittsburgh.

Now, we want to share a little of that tradition with the next generation.

When you bring your rug to Northside for professional cleaning, bring the kids along. Let them see how rugs are really washed, learn about the process, and take part in selected activities under the supervision of our experienced team.

It’s not only about cleaning a rug. It’s about learning a craft, experiencing something different, and making a memory together.

Bring your rug. Bring your kids. Come see how we really wash rugs.
