This church pew has been through the ringer! My original plan was to strip the paint, and then apply a natural stain to bring out the natural wood grain to accent the white walls. As you can see, once I got past about 3 layers of paint, a week of attempting to strip, I decided to roll with what I had. I was concerned of the risk I may have been putting myself at if I continued to sand these unknown paint layers, so this poor pew got yet another coat of paint!

After a vigorous wash and sanding this church pew was ready for its ✨end game✨
So I cut it down to a nice little 2.5 foot bench, which took a very steady hand with the skill saw, then painted it white and sanded down the edges to create a vintage look.

I am OBSESSED with this bench, to say the least! As I always say, one person’s trash is another’s treasure!

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to do a check In, as some may noticed I have not had very much content lately. This last semester of my 7 year journey In school has certainly been a doozy, to say the least. I am hoping to post and blog more come spring time, so thank you for all of your patience! I can't wait to get back to it then, but just wanted to keep my followers updated!

Hey friends! Check out how crafty my neighbor is! She just sent me these pictures of these super clever & CHEAP DIY projects which included a coffee table, and nifty square shelves! What a great way to not only add more room for home decor, family photos, and her green children, but also room for FUNCTIONALITY.

Not only did she build the table AND shelves, but she built a great ceiling mounted hangar for her plants! How clever AND beautiful!

Thanks for sharing Gabriella Bautista & great job with these DIY projects. Your living room looks wonderful and like a great place to cozy up!! 🏠✨

The final result of my hand-painted wooden signs. Used from all scrap wood and paint & stain I already had. Just an idea for re-using and not letting any home improvement supplies go to waste! (Maybe this new hack will keep me out of the home decor section of TJ’s and Target 🙈)

Hi friends, I want to share a super easy hack here. A nice utensil holder, or it could serve as table top decor with greenery, etc. rather than spending $20 on one piece of decor, grab a vase (any shape) from your local dollar store and then wrap with cording. You can do one hue or two like I chose to do.

Once you’ve got your supplies, turn on the hot glue gun and get to work! It’s very easy, and VERY cheap, but will add some grace to any space without spending too much!!
