Design should feel collected, warm, and lived in — not overly complicated 🤍

Loving this soft coastal-inspired palette lately:
muted blues, warm neutrals, layered textures, and timeless details.

Would you use this color palette in your home?

Some of my favorite spaces use warmth in unexpected ways — layered textures, earthy tones, soft lighting, natural wood, and pieces that feel collected over time.

This space is still waiting on the final mantel install, but even unfinished rooms can start to feel like home when the foundation is right. 🤍

A home doesn’t have to feel bright and stark to feel beautiful.
Sometimes the coziest spaces are the ones that feel the most lived in.

Warm, cozy spaces usually aren’t about spending more money — they’re about layering the right elements.

Three things I almost always use to make a home feel warmer:
• texture (wood, baskets, linen, rugs)
• softer lighting
• pieces that feel collected instead of perfectly matched

The goal is creating a home that feels inviting the second you walk in. 🤍

I’ll choose warmth, texture, and personality over a perfectly staged space every time.

The homes that feel the best usually tell a story — layered pieces, collected finds, meaningful decor, imperfect wood, lived-in warmth.

That’s the kind of design I love most. 🤍

A room doesn’t have to be fully renovated to feel warm and elevated. 🤍

A few of my favorite ways to instantly make a space feel cozier:

• Layered textures
• Warm lighting
• Soft neutral tones mixed with natural elements

The smallest details are usually what change how a home actually feels to live in. ✨

You don’t always need a huge renovation to make home feel refreshed. 🌿

Sometimes it’s new flowers, rearranging a space, layering textures, or creating a cozy spot you actually want to sit in at the end of the day.

I’ve been slowly refreshing our outdoor space for spring and summer, and honestly… these little details make such a difference in how home feels.

Warm, lived-in, welcoming spaces will always be my favorite kind. 🤍

One of my favorite things about design is seeing the potential in a space before it becomes something beautiful. 🤍

This hallway in my mom’s home started as a plain wall with a vision and a few pieces of wood… and slowly turned into one of my favorite transformations.

I wanted it to feel warm, personal, elevated, and full of life — not just like a pass-through hallway.

It’s proof that thoughtful details can completely transform how a home feels.

Reid Design may officially be new, but creating spaces that feel lived in, loved, and intentional has been part of me for a long time. ✨
